2017-11-21ARM: dts: Fix compatible for ti81xx uarts for 8250Tony Lindgren
[ Upstream commit f62280efe8934a1275fd148ef302d1afec8cd3df ] When using 8250_omap driver, we need to specify the right compatible value for the UART to work on dm814x and dm816x. 2015-07-14ARM: dts: Remove L3 compatible value for dm816xTony Lindgren
The interconnects on dm816x are like on omap4, so we should use l3-noc instead of l3-smx. But as the related SoC specific l3_target_data is still missing from omap_l3_noc let's just remove the entry for now. 2015-03-19ARM: dts: Add cppi41 support for dm816x MUSBTony Lindgren

2015-03-18ARM: dts: Fix gpio interrupts for dm816xTony Lindgren
Commit 7800064ba507 ("ARM: dts: Add basic dm816x device tree configuration") added basic devices for dm816x, but I was not able to test the GPIO interrupts earlier until I found some suitable pins to test with. We can mux the MMC card detect and write protect pins from SD_SDCD and SD_SDWP mode to use a normal GPIO interrupts that are also suitable for the MMC subsystem. This turned out several issues that need to be fixed: - I set the GPIO type wrong to be compatible with omap3 instead of omap4. The GPIO controller on dm816x has EOI interrupt register like omap4 and am335x. - I got the GPIO interrupt numbers wrong as each bank has two and we only use one. They need to be set up the same way as on am335x. - The gpio banks are missing interrupt controller related properties. With these changes the GPIO interrupts can be used with the MMC card detect pin, so let's wire that up. Let's also mux all the MMC lines for completeness while at it. For the first GPIO bank I tested using GPMC lines temporarily muxed to GPIOs on the dip switch 10. 2015-02-24ARM: dts: Fix USB dts configuration for dm816xTony Lindgren
Commit 7800064ba507 ("ARM: dts: Add basic dm816x device tree configuration") added basic devices for dm816x, but I was not able to test the USB completely because of an unconfigured USB phy, and I only tested it to make sure the Mentor chips are detected and clocked without a phy. After testing the USB with actual devices I noticed a few issues that should be fixed to avoid confusion: - The USB id pin on dm8168-evm is hardwired and can be changed only by software. As there are two USB-A type connectors, let's start both in host mode instead of otg. - The Mentor core is configured in such a way on dm8168-evm that it's not capable of multipoint at least on revision c board that I have. - We need ranges for the syscon to properly set up the phy as children of the SCM syscon area. - Let's not disable the second interface, the board specific dts files can do that if really needed. Most boards should just keep it enabled to ensure the device is idled properly. Note that also a phy and several musb fixes are still needed to make the USB to work properly in addition to this fix. 2015-01-28ARM: dts: Fix dm816x pinctrl and syscon so they are children of SCMTony Lindgren
Looks like I only got half done with moving pinctrl and syscon to be children of the SCM. I've set up the FAPLL clocks that way already, but did not complete the job as I copied the syscon values from am33xx.dtsi. To make sure the syscon mapping works, I've verfified that we can set up davinci_emac mac address the same way as cpsw already does with the syscon mapping. So let's add that too. 2015-01-19ARM: dts: Add basic clocks for dm816xTony Lindgren
The clocks on dm816x are a bit different from the other omap variants. The clocks are sourced from a FAPLL (Flying Adder PLL) unlike on other omaps. Other than that, it's a similar setup to am33xx with extra muxes and dividers that can be defined as existing component clocks. 2015-01-19ARM: dts: Add basic dm816x device tree configurationTony Lindgren
Similar to other omap variants, let's add dm816x support. Note that this is based on generated data from the TI81XX-LINUX-PSP-04.04.00.02 patches published at: http://downloads.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/psp/LinuxPSP/TI81XX_04_04/04_04_00_02/index_FDS.html I've verified the basic functionality, but have not been able to test all the devices on dm8168-evm.
