On some laptops, keyboard needs to be reset in order to successfully detect
touchpad (e.g., some Gigabyte laptop models with Elantech touchpads).
Without resettin keyboard touchpad pretends to be completely dead.
Based on the original patch by Mateusz Jończyk this version has been
expanded to include DMI based detection & application of the fix
automatically on the affected models of laptops. This has been confirmed to
fix problem by three users already on three different models of laptops.

The ADC clock frequency is limited depending on modes used. Add
device tree property which allow to set the mode used and the
maximum frequency ratings for the instance.

TCFQ is interrupt of Transfer Complete Flag in DSPI module.
EOQ is interrupt of End of Queue Flag in DSPI module.
For adopting of different platform, either of them is a way of DSPI
transfer data. This patch add TCF support for DSPI module in other platform.

In (6468276 i2c: designware: make SCL and SDA falling time
configurable) new device tree properties were added for setting the
falling time of SDA and SCL. The device tree bindings doc had a typo
in it: it forgot the "-ns" suffix for both properies in the prose of
the bindings.
I assume this is a typo because:
* The source code includes the "-ns"
* The example in the bindings includes the "-ns".
Fix the typo.

On some ARMs the memory can be mapped pgprot_noncached() and still
be working for atomic operations. As pointed out by Colin Cross
<ccross@android.com>, in some cases you do want to use
pgprot_noncached() if the SoC supports it to see a debug printk
just before a write hanging the system.
On ARMs, the atomic operations on strongly ordered memory are
implementation defined. So let's provide an optional kernel parameter
for configuring pgprot_noncached(), and use pgprot_writecombine() by
default.

of multiple similar SoC's. The VF5xx series comes without secondary
Cortex-M4 core, while the second number VFx1x indicates the presence
of a L2 cache controller.

The clock controller module (CCM) has several clock inputs, which
are connected to external crystal oscillators. To reflect this,
assign these fixed clocks to the CCM node directly.
This especially resolves initialization order dependencies we had
with the earlier initialization code: When resolving of the fixed
clocks failed in clk-vf610, the code created fixed clocks with a
rate of 0.

This driver register pm_power_off with snvs power off function. If
your boards NOT use PMIC_ON_REQ to turn on/off external pmic, or use
other pin to do, please disable the driver in dts, otherwise, your
pm_power_off maybe overwrote by this driver.

Some distributions carry an "old" format of overlayfs while mainline has a
"new" format.
The distros will possibly want to keep the old overlayfs alongside the new
for compatibility reasons.
To make it possible to differentiate the two versions change the name of
the new one from "overlayfs" to "overlay".

a9ecdc0fdc54 ("of/irq: Fix lookup to use 'interrupts-extended' property
first") updated the description to say that:
- Both 'interrupts' and 'interrupts-extended' may be present
- Software should prefer 'interrupts-extended'
- Software that doesn't comprehend 'interrupts-extended' may use
'interrupts'
But there is still a paragraph at the end that prohibits having both and
says 'interrupts' should be preferred.
Remove the contradictory text.

A chapter is added to describe the trackpoint packets.
A section is added to describe the behaviour of the knob crc_enabled in
sysfs.
The introduction of the documentation only mentioned v1/v2, but in the
last part it already contains explanation of v3 and v4. The introduction
is updated.

41e5c0f81d3e ("of/pci: Add pci_get_new_domain_nr() and
of_get_pci_domain_nr()") added parsing of the "linux,pci-domain" property,
but didn't add the binding documentation.
Since this property will be supported by a number of host bridge drivers,
add it to the common PCI binding doc.

Back in 2010 the default usb-storage delay_use time was reduced from 5 to 1
second (commit a4a47bc03fe520e95e0c4212bf97c86545fb14f9), but
kernel-parameters.txt wasn't updated to reflect that.

The Vybrid SoC device tree (vf610.dtsi) used this bindings since
its initial commit in May 2013. However, a proper gpiolib driver
was missing so far. With the addition of the gpiolib driver,
the bindings proved to be useful and complete, hence a good time
to add the documentation.

The default used to be that the first vivid device instance was
single planar, the second multi planar, the third single planar, etc.
However, that turned out to be unexpected and awkward. Change the
driver to always default to single planar.

3) Fix incorrect return value from ax88179_178a driver's set_mac_addr
op, which broke use of it with bonding. From Ian Morgan.
4) Checking of skb_gso_segment()'s return value was not all
encompassing, it can return an SKB pointer, a pointer error, or
NULL. Fix from Florian Westphal.
This is crummy, and longer term will be fixed to just return error
pointers or a real SKB.
6) Encapsulation offloads not being handled by
skb_gso_transport_seglen(). From Florian Westphal.
7) Fix deadlock in TIPC stack, from Ying Xue.
8) Fix performance regression from using rhashtable for netlink
sockets. The problem was the synchronize_net() invoked for every

9) Fix bug in eBPF verifier, and remove the strong dependency of BPF

10) In qdisc_create(), use the correct interface to allocate
->cpu_bstats, otherwise the u64_stats_sync member isn't

12) nf_tables_newchain() was erroneously expecting error pointers from

14) When we set the TX flow hash on a socket, we mistakenly do so
before we've nailed down the final source port. Move the setting

20) Bucket eviction and frag entry killing can race with eachother,
