2017-05-16ARM: dts: Use - instead of @ for DT OPP entries for TI SoCsViresh Kumar
Compiling the DT file with W=1, DTC warns like follows: Warning (unit_address_vs_reg): Node /opp_table0/opp@1000000000 has a unit name, but no reg property Fix this by replacing '@' with '-' as the OPP nodes will never have a "reg" property. 2017-03-23ARM: dts: am335x-boneblack: Enable 1GHz OPP for cpuDave Gerlach
Although all PG2.0 silicon may not support 1GHz OPP for the MPU, older Beaglebone Blacks may have PG2.0 silicon populated and these particular parts are guaranteed to support the OPP, so enable it for PG2.0 on am335x-boneblack only. 2016-11-17ARM: dts: am335x-boneblack: Add blue-and-red-wiring -property to LCDC nodeJyri Sarha
Add blue-and-red-wiring -property to LCDC node. Also adds comments on how to get support 24 bit RGB mode. After this patch am335x-boneblack support RGB565, BGR888, and XBGR8888 color formats. See details in Documentation/devicetree/bindings/display/tilcdc/tilcdc.txt. The BBB has straight color wiring from am335x to tda19988, however the tda19988 can be configured to cross the blue and red wires. The comments show how to do that with video-ports property of tda19988 node and how to tell LCDC that blue and red wires are crossed, with blue-and-red-wiring LCDC node property. This changes supported color formats from 16 bit RGB and 24 bit BGR to 16 bit BGR and 24 bit RGB. 2016-09-14Revert "ARM: dts: am335x-boneblack: Enable 1GHz OPP for cpu"Dave Gerlach
This reverts commit c36e6ec904876de1935b1d74d2d711e6f5ceb572. The original commit updated the cpufreq operating points tables for am335x-boneblack but was merged before the driver making use of the node was merged, which breaks the existing cpufreq implementation on the system, so revert the patch until the ti-cpufreq driver is merged. 2014-12-10rtc: omap: drop vendor-prefix from power-controller dt propertyJohan Hovold
Drop the vendor-prefix from the "ti,system-power-controller" device-tree property name. It has been agreed to make "system-power-controller" a standard property and to drop the vendor-prefix that is currently used by several drivers. Note that drivers that have used "<vendor>,system-power-controller" in a released kernel will need to support both versions. 2014-12-10ARM: dts: am335x-boneblack: enable power off and rtc wake upJohan Hovold
Configure the RTC as system-power controller, which allows the system to be powered off as well as woken up again on subsequent RTC alarms. Note that the PMIC needs to be put in SLEEP (rather than OFF) mode to maintain RTC power. Specifically, this means that the PMIC ti,pmic-shutdown-controller property must be left unset in order to be able to wake up on RTC alarms. Tested on BeagleBone Black (rev A5). 2014-09-03ARM: dts: am335x-bone*: Fix model name and update compatibility informationNishanth Menon
Beaglebone white and beaglebone black differ in tiny little aspects. This is the reason why we maintain seperate dts for these platforms. However, there is no real way to decode from dtb which platform it is since compatible and model name are the same for both platforms. Fix this so that beaglebone black and beaglebone are identifiable, while maintaining compatibility for older zImages which might use old beaglebone compatible flag for black as well. 2013-09-17ARM: dts: am335x-bone*: add DT for BeagleBone BlackKoen Kooi
The BeagleBone Black is basically a regular BeagleBone with eMMC and HDMI added, so create a common dtsi both can use. IMPORTANT: booting the existing am335x-bone.dts will blow up the HDMI transceiver after a dozen boots with an uSD card inserted because LDO will be at 3.3V instead of 1.8. MMC support for AM335x still isn't in, so only the LDO change has been added.
