2019-06-22ARM: dts: BCM53573: Fix DTC W=1 warningsFlorian Fainelli
Fix the the unit_address_vs_reg warnings and unnecessary \#address-cells/#size-cells without "ranges" or child "reg" property warnings. Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2019-01-30ARM: dts: Kill off skeleton{64}.dtsiRob Herring
Remove the usage of skeleton.dtsi in the remaining dts files. It was deprecated since commit 9c0da3cc61f1 ("ARM: dts: explicitly mark skeleton.dtsi as deprecated"). This will make adding a unit-address to memory nodes easier. The main tricky part to removing skeleton.dtsi is we could end up with no /memory node at all when a bootloader depends on one being present. I hacked up dtc to check for this condition. 2018-11-05ARM: dts: BCM53573: Relicense SoC file to the GPL 2.0+ / MITRafał Miłecki
This matches licensing used by most of BCM5301X files and is preferred as: 1) GPL 2.0+ makes it clearly compatible with Linux kernel 2) MIT is also permissive but preferred over ISC This file has been developed by me & once modified by Rob dropping a single leading zero in an UART address. 2018-07-09ARM: dts: BCM53573: Add architected timerRafał Miłecki
It's a standard ARM architected timer that was simply missed when initially adding this .dtsi file. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2017-10-20arm: dts: fix unit-address leading 0sRob Herring
Fix dtc warnings for 'simple_bus_reg' due to leading 0s. Converted using the following command: perl -p -i -e 's/\@0+([0-9a-f])/\@$1/g' `find arch/arm/boot/dts -type -f -name '*.dts*' Dropped changes to ARM, Ltd. boards LED nodes and manually fixed up some occurrences of uppercase hex. 2017-08-17ARM: BCM53573: Specify ports for USB LED for Tenda AC9Rafał Miłecki
This uses trigger-sources documented in commit 80dc6e1cd85fc ("dt-bindings: leds: document new trigger-sources property") to specify USB ports. Such an information can be used by operating system to setup LEDs behavior. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2017-03-22ARM: dts: BCM53573: Specify serial console parametersRafał Miłecki
This adds baud rate, parity & number of data bits. It's required to get serial working correctly. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2017-03-05ARM: dts: BCM53573: Describe Tenda AC9 PCIe card in DTRafał Miłecki
Tenda AC9 has PCIe controller with just one device connected to it: 0000:00:00.0 14e4:d145 Bridge Device └─ 0000:01:00.0 14e4:a8db Network Controller This card is directly on SoC (doesn't use physical connector) and has BCM43217 chipset with bcma bus. One of its components is ChipCommon core which is also a GPIO controller. We need to describe it to be able to add devices using its GPIO pins. 2017-01-18ARM: dts: BCM53573: Specify USB ports of on-SoC controllersRafał Miłecki
Broadcom OHCI and EHCI controllers always have 2 ports each on the root hub. Describe them in DT to allow specifying extra info or referencing port nodes. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2016-10-19ARM: BCM53573: Specify PMU and its ILP clock in the DTRafał Miłecki
ILP clock (sometimes called a "slow clock") is a part of PMU (Power Management Unit). There has been recently added a driver for it, so add a proper entry in the DT as well. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
2016-10-19ARM: BCM5301X: Add basic dts for BCM53573 based Tenda AC9Rafał Miłecki
BCM53573 seems to be low priced alternative for Northstar chipsts. It uses single core Cortex-A7 and doesn't have SDU or local (TWD) timer. It was also stripped out of independent SPI controller and 2 GMACs. DTS for Tenda AC9 isn't completed yet. It misses e.g. switch entry (we still need some b53 fixes) and probably some clocks. It adds support for basic features however and can be improved later. Signed-off-by: Rafał Miłecki <rafal@milecki.pl> Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com>
