SRTC needs to be kept enabled during system poweroff,
SNVS_LP control register bit 0 SRTC_ENV must be set
to enable RTC, for software poweroff, kernel just
read the register offset and value from dtb and write
to SNVS_LP control register to poweroff system, need
to make sure bit 0 SRTC_ENV is set to enable RTC during
system poweroff.
Previous setting did NOT enable it which will cause
RTC stop running if using software poweroff.

device tree
Starting from IMX6, the flexcan stop mode control bits is SoC specific,
move it out of IP driver and parse it from devicetree.
It's good from maintain perspective and can avoid adding too many SoC
specifi bits in driver but with no IP changes when the IMX SoC series
keep growing.

As spdif driver will register SPDIF clock to regmap, regmap will do
clk_prepare in init function, so SPDIF clock is prepared in probe, then its
root clock (pll clock) is prepared also, which cause the arm can't enter
low power mode.
Add SPDIF_GCLK in clock tree which share same gate bits with SPDIF clock.
Its root clock is ipg clock, and register it to regmap, then the issue can be
fixed.

Commit 833f2cbf7091 ("ARM: dts: imx6: change the core clock of spdif")
changed many more clocks than only the SPDIF core clock as stated in
the commit message.
The MLB clock has been added and this causes SPDIF regression as
reported by Xavi Drudis Ferran and also in this forum post:
https://forum.digikey.com/thread/34240
The MX6Q Reference Manual does not mention that MLB is a clock related
to SPDIF, so change it back to a dummy clock to restore SPDIF
functionality.
Thanks to Ambika for providing the fix at:

When compiled with "W=1", dtc complains: e.g.
"Warning (unit_address_vs_reg):
Node /soc/ipu@02800000/port@2/endpoint@0
has a unit name, but no reg property"
Endpoint nodes don't have a reg property, and the addresses
in their node names are ordinals without any special meaning
so remove them and swap them for semantic node names.

- The i.MX changes were sent relatively late, and had a dependency on
the clk tree, so I delayed that a bit. Support for the new i.MX6qp
SoC and a couple of new boards is added in this branch.
- Uniphier renames a few files to match the final product names that
were decided by the company, kudos to the kernel developer(s) for
getting support upstream before the product release. Also two
boards are added. The patches were posted early enough and nice
overall, but we forgot to apply them and decided to give it some
more time in linux-next

According to the reference manual the shp_2_mcu / mcu_2_shp
scripts must be used for devices connected through the SPBA.
This fixes an issue we saw with DMA transfers from SPI NOR Flashes.
Sometimes the SPI controller RX FIFO was not empty after a DMA
transfer and the driver got stuck in the next PIO transfer when
it read one word more than expected.

The interrupt-parent property is not needed as it is inherited from
the parent bus and in the case of the CAAM node actively points to
the wrong interrupt controller (GIC instead of GPC). This leads to
the CAAM IRQs not getting unmasked at the GPC level, leaving them
unable to wake the CPU from wait mode, potentially impacting
performance of the CAAM unit when CPUidle is enabled.

ARM device tree contents for the mainline kernel. Come and see, come

No less than twentythree thousand lines of additions! Just imagine the
joy you will have of using your mainline kernel on newly supported

For those of you feeling less adventurous, added hardware support on

- DRM support on Atmel AT91SAM9N12EK
- USB additions on some Allwinner platforms
- Mediatek MT6580 support
- Freescale i.MX6UL support
