2020-02-09ARM: dts: imx7: Fix memory node duplicationFabio Estevam
Boards based on imx7 have duplicate memory nodes: - One coming from the board dts file: memory@ - One coming from the imx7s.dtsi file. Fix the duplication by removing the memory node from the dtsi file and by adding 'device_type = "memory";' in the board dts. 2019-01-13ARM: dts: imx7d-nitrogen7: Fix the description of the Wifi clockFabio Estevam
[ Upstream commit f15096f12a4e9340168df5fdd9201aa8ed60d59e ] According to bindings/regulator/fixed-regulator.txt the 'clocks' and 'clock-names' properties are not valid ones. In order to turn on the Wifi clock the correct location for describing the CLKO2 clock is via a mmc-pwrseq handle, so do it accordingly. 2017-06-04ARM: dts: imx7: Fix typo in watchdog pin nameFabio Estevam
Change "WDOD1" to "WDOG1" in watchdog pin names. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2017-05-21ARM: dts: imx7: use 3 PWM cellsStefan Agner
The PWM driver has now capability to specify the PWM polarity which is e.g. for backlight control. Allow to make use of PWM polarity by specifying pwm-cells to be 3 in the base dt. The rv4162 compatbile string is missing the vendor part, add it. Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@free-electrons.com> Acked-by: Gary Bisson <gary.bisson@boundarydevices.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2017-01-29ARM: dts: imx7: Add "LPSR" to LPSR iomux pin namesSascha Hauer
The i.MX7 has two iomux controllers. the iomuxc and the iomuxc_lpsr. In a board dts we have to make sure that both controllers are supplied with the correct pins. It's way too easy to do this wrong since only a look into the reference manual can reveal which pins belong to which controller. To make this clearer add "LPSR" to the pin names which belong to the LPSR controller. 2016-06-28ARM: dts: imx7d: move input header into base device treeStefan Agner
The base device tree uses KEY_POWER in the snvs-powerkey node, hence include the input.h header file in the base device tree. Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Acked-by: Igor Grinberg <grinberg@compulab.co.il> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2016-06-28ARM: dts: imx7d: recreate imx7d.dtsi with i.MX 7Dual specificsStefan Agner
The i.MX 7Solo implements a subset of features available on i.MX 7Dual. Recreate imx7s.dtsi as the base device tree for i.MX 7Dual boards. The i.MX 7Dual's additional features over i.MX 7Solo are: - Second Cortex-A7 core - Second Gigabit Ethernet controller - EPD (Electronc Paper Display, not yet part of the device tree) - PCIe (not yet part of the device tree) - Additional USB2.0 OTG controller Signed-off-by: Stefan Agner <stefan@agner.ch> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
2016-06-28ARM: dts: imx7d: use imx7s.dtsi as base device treeStefan Agner
The i.MX 7 series currently consists of two SoCs: i.MX 7Solo and 7Dual. The former has a subset of features of the latter, hence use imx7s.dtsi as the new base device tree. To keep diffstat nice, just move imx7d.dtsi to imx7s.dtsi temporarily and recreate imx7d.dtsi in a second commit. 2016-06-11ARM: dts: imx: Use generic uart-has-rtscts DT propertyGeert Uytterhoeven
As of commit 1006ed7e1b258dac ("serial: imx: Use generic uart-has-rtscts DT property"), the Freescale IMX UART driver recognizes the generic "uart-has-rtscts" DT property, deprecating the vendor-specific "fsl,uart-has-rtscts" DT property. Hence replace the latter by the former in all DTS files. Signed-off-by: Geert Uytterhoeven <geert+renesas@glider.be> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
