Merge changes from Toradex Linux 4.9 BSP.
Signed-off-by: Philippe Schenker <philippe.schenker@toradex.com>
(cherry picked from commit e79a2c56ad4d547a45c726195b9024b189657128)
Conflicts:
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx7-colibri.dtsi
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx7d-colibri-emmc.dtsi
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx7d.dtsi
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx7s.dtsi
I reverted imx7d.dtsi and imx7s.dtsi completely this time. Then
I copied the parts over from imx7d to imx7s like we had it on the BSP
before to guarantee the same functionality on iMX7s as we already had.

According to latest docs imx7d chips can go from 800 to 1200 mhz.
Maximum frequency is determined from two speed grading bits present in
OCOTP fuses at same location as other imx chips.
Also update to "typical" voltages from latest datasheet, 25mv higher
than current dts.
All imx7s parts are still fixed at 800mhz

CoreSight DT bindings have been updated, thus the old compatible strings
are obsolete and the drivers will report warning if DTS uses these
obsolete strings.
This patch switches to the new bindings for CoreSight dynamic funnel and
static replicator, so can dismiss warning during initialisation.

Since 25aaa75df1e6 SDMA driver uses clock rates of "ipg" and "ahb"
clock to determine if it needs to configure the IP block as operating
at 1:1 or 1:2 clock ratio (ACR bit in SDMAARM_CONFIG). Specifying both
clocks as IMX7D_CLK_SDMA results in driver incorrectly thinking that
ratio is 1:1 which results in broken SDMA funtionality. Fix the code
to specify IMX7D_CLK_IPG as "ipg" clock for SDMA, to avoid detecting
incorrect clock ratio.

The GIC_CPU_MASK_SIMPLE() macro should take as its argument the actual
number of CPU cores the interrupt controller is wired to.
i.MX7S contains a single Cortex-A7, hence the second interrupt specifier
cell for Private Peripheral Interrupts should use "GIC_CPU_MASK_SIMPLE(1)".
Likewise, i.MX7D contains two Cortex-A7 cores, so it should use
"GIC_CPU_MASK_SIMPLE(2)" instead.

Since commit 654f2b937b38 ("crypto: caam - allow retrieving 'era' from
register") the CAAM driver is capable of obtaining the era version by
reading the appropriate CAAM registers, so let the CAAM driver discover
the era version in run-time instead of hardcoding such information in the
device tree.
According to Documentation/devicetree/bindings/crypto/fsl-sec4.txt the
'fsl,sec-era' is an optional property and this can be safely removed
now.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/arm/arm-soc
Pull ARM SoC device tree updates from Olof Johansson:
"As always, a large number of DT updates. Too many to enumerate them
all, but at a glance:
New SoCs introduced in this release:
- Amlogic:
+ Meson 8M2 SoC, a.k.a. S812. A quad Cortex-A9 SoC used in some
set top boxes and other products.
- Mediatek:
+ MT7623A, which is a flavor of the MT7623 family with other
on-chip ethernet options.
- Qualcomm:
+ SDM845, a.k.a Snapdragon 845, an 4+4-core Kryo 385/845
(Cortex-A75/A55 derivative) SoC that's one of the current
high-end mobile SoCs.
It's great to see mainline support for it. So far, you can't do
much with it, since a lot of peripherals are not yet in the DTs
but driver support for USB, GPU and other pieces are starting to
trickle in. This might end up being a well-supported SoC
upstream if the momentum keeps up.
- Renesas:
+ R8A77990, a.k.a R-Car E3, a new automotive
entertainment-targeted SoC. Currently only one Cortex-A53 CPU is
enabled, we are eagerly awaiting more. So far, basic drivers
such as serial, gpios, PMU and ethernet are enabled.
+ R8A77470, a.k.a. RZ/G1C, a new dual Cortex-A7 SoC with PowerVR
GPU. Same here, basic set of drivers such as serial, gpios and
ethernet enabled, and SMP support is also forthcoming.
- STMicroelectronics:
+ STM32F469, very similar tih STM32F429 but with display support
Enhancements to SoCs/platforms (DTS contents, some driver portions
might not be in yet):
- Allwinner sun8i (h3/a33/a83t) SMP, DVFS tweaks, misc

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/clk/linux
Pull clk updates from Stephen Boyd:
"This time we have a good set of changes to the core framework that do
some general cleanups, but nothing too major. The majority of the diff
goes to two SoCs, Actions Semi and Qualcomm. A brand new driver is
introduced for Actions Semi so it takes up some lines to add all the
different types, and the Qualcomm diff is there because we add support
for two SoCs and it's quite a bit of data.
Otherwise the big driver updates are on TI Davinci and Amlogic
platforms. And then the long tail of driver updates for various fixes
and stuff follows after that.
Core:
- debugfs cleanups removing error checking and an unused provider API
- Removal of a clk init typedef that isn't used
- Usage of match_string() to simplify parent string name matching
- OF clk helpers moved to their own file (linux/of_clk.h)
- Make clk warnings more readable across kernel versions
New Drivers:
- Qualcomm SDM845 GCC and Video clk controllers
- Qualcomm MSM8998 GCC
- Actions Semi S900 SoC support
- Nuvoton npcm750 microcontroller clks
- Amlogic axg AO clock controller
Removed Drivers:
- Deprecated Rockchip clk-gate driver
Updates:
- debugfs functions stopped checking return values
- Support for the MSIOF module clocks on Rensas R-Car M3-N
- Support for the new Rensas RZ/G1C and R-Car E3 SoCs
- Qualcomm GDSC, RCG, and PLL updates for clk changes in new SoCs
- Berlin and Amlogic SPDX tagging
- Usage of of_clk_get_parent_count() in more places
- Proper implementation of the CDEV1/2 clocks on Tegra20
- Allwinner H6 PRCM clock support and R40 EMAC support
- Add critical flag to meson8b's fdiv2 as temporary fixup for ethernet
- Round closest support for meson's mpll driver
- Support for meson8b nand clocks and gxbb video decoder clocks
- Mediatek mali clks
- STM32MP1 fixes

Currently the following error is seen from the CAAM driver:
caam 30900000.caam: device ID = 0x0a16030000000000 (Era -524)
Pass the 'fsl,sec-era' property to properly describe the
era information.
This error happens because the 'fsl,sec-era' is not passed via
device tree.
The era information is used in various places inside drivers/crypto/caam,
so pass the correct version via device tree.

Move tempmon node from soc node to root node.
tempmon node does not have any register properties and thus
shouldn't be placed on the bus.
This fixes the following build warning with W=1:
arch/arm/boot/dts/imx7d-cl-som-imx7.dtb: Warning (simple_bus_reg): Node /soc/aips-bus@30000000/tempmon missing or empty reg/ranges property

missing daisy chain configurations; add more devices like WDOG3,
UART8, PMU, architected timer etc.
- Hummingboard updates: correct USBOTG-ID pin; remove mention of
nonexistent node.
- Fix compatibles of atmel eeprom devices.
- A couple of improvements on i.MX25 pinfunc header regarding to eSDHC
pins.
- A bunch of patches from Fabio and Marco to fix DTC warnings seen with
W=1 switch.
- Remove GPU subsystem nodes, as they are not needed by the etnaviv
driver anymore and have been removed from the binding.
- Add FIFO depth definition for i.MX25 SSI devices.
- Add missing '#sound-dai-cells' for sgtl5000 codec which is complained
by DTC.
- Miscellaneous and random updates.

According to the i.MX 7Solo/Dual Application Processor Reference
Manual the ECSPI1/2/3, UART1/2/3 and SAI1/2/3 peripherals are
connected through the SPBA bus. Other similar SoCs such as i.MX 6UL
add this bus abstraction. This adds the bus also to the i.MX 7
device tree.
The i.MX SDMA driver uses this abstraction to configure watermark
levels slightly differently, so this might change behavior slightly.
There have no issues been observed before or after the patch.
