2017-01-19ARM: dts: kirkwood-mv88f6281gtw-ge: Utilize new DSA bindingFlorian Fainelli
Utilize the new DSA binding, introduced with commit 8c5ad1d6179d ("net: dsa: Document new binding"). The legacy binding node is kept included, but is marked disabled. 2016-04-14ARM: dts: kirkwood: Fixup pcie DT warningsAndrew Lunn
PCIe has a range property, so the unit name should contain an address. Make use of the label to enable individual PCIe busses. Also, fixup the synology dtsi file which added a label pcie2 rather than using the existing pcie1 label. 2016-04-14ARM: dts: kirkwood: Remove address from dsa unit nameAndrew Lunn
The dsa node does not have a reg property, so remove the address from the unit name. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Signed-off-by: Gregory CLEMENT <gregory.clement@free-electrons.com>
2016-04-14ARM: dts: kirkwood: Remove button address and fixup namesAndrew Lunn
The DT compiler is now warning about unit names with addresses but not reg property. Fix all the gpio-key buttons which causes warnings. Signed-off-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Signed-off-by: Gregory CLEMENT <gregory.clement@free-electrons.com>
2015-05-25ARM: kirkwood: add "jedec,spi-nor" flash compatible bindingRafał Miłecki
Starting with commit 8947e396a829 ("Documentation: dt: mtd: replace "nor-jedec" binding with "jedec, spi-nor"") we have "jedec,spi-nor" binding indicating support for JEDEC identification. Use it for all flashes that are supposed to support READ ID op according to the datasheets. 2014-09-13ARM: Kirkwood: Fix DT based DSA.Andrew Lunn
During the conversion of boards to use DT to instantiate Distributed Switch Architecture, nobody volunteered to test. As to be expected, the conversion was flawed. Testers and access to hardware has now become available, and this patch hopefully fixes the problems. dsa,mii-bus must be a phandle to the top level mdio node, not the port specific subnode of the mdio device. dsa, ethernet must be a phandle to the port subnode within the ethernet DT node, not the ethernet node. Don't pinctrl hog the card detect gpio for mvsdio. Rename the .dts files to make it clearer which file is for the Z0 stepping and which for the A0 or later stepping. 2014-05-05ARM: dts: kirkwood: set default pinctrl for SPI0Sebastian Hesselbarth
Most Kirkwood boards use the default SPI0 pinctrl setting anyway. Add a default pinctrl setting to the toplevel SoC SPI0 node and put a note in front of the corresponding pinctrl node to overwrite the setting on board level. Currently, only T5325 is using a different setting and already overwrites the corresponding pinctrl node. 2014-05-05ARM: dts: kirkwood: set default pinctrl for UART0/1Sebastian Hesselbarth
Most boards use the default UART0/1 pinctrl setting without RTS/CTS. Add the pinctrl setting to the toplevel SoC UART nodes and put a note in front of the corresponding pinctrl node to overwrite the setting on board level. Currently, both boards using a different UART pinctrl setting (Openblocks A6, A7) already overwrite the pinctrl node. While at it, also fix up some status = "ok" to "okay" and again whitespace issues on mplcec4 uart nodes. 2014-05-05ARM: dts: kirkwood: remove clock-frequency properties from UART nodesSebastian Hesselbarth
UART devices found on Kirkwood SoCs derive their baudrate from TCLK. With proper clocks property in the SoCs serial node, boards do not need to overwrite it anymore. Remove the remaining clock-frequency property from all Kirkwood boards. 2014-05-05ARM: dts: kirkwood: add stdout-path property to all boardsSebastian Hesselbarth
ePAPR allows to reference the device used for console output by stdout-path property. With node labels for Kirkwood UART0, now reference it on all Kirkwood boards that already have ttyS0 in their bootargs property. While at it, fix some whitespace issues on mplcec4's chosen node (there are more, but we only fix the chosen node now) Signed-off-by: Sebastian Hesselbarth <sebastian.hesselbarth@gmail.com> Acked-by: Andrew Lunn <andrew@lunn.ch> Link: https://lkml.kernel.org/r/1398862602-29595-4-git-send-email-sebastian.hesselbarth@gmail.com Signed-off-by: Jason Cooper <jason@lakedaemon.net>
2014-05-05ARM: dts: kirkwood: fix mislocated pcie-controller nodesSebastian Hesselbarth
Commit 54397d85349f ("ARM: kirkwood: Relocate PCIe device tree nodes") moved the pcie-controller nodes for the Kirkwood SoCs to the mbus bus node. For some reason, two boards were not properly converted and have their pci-controller nodes still in the ocp bus node. As the corresponding SoC pcie-controller does not exist anymore, it is likely that pcie is broken on those boards since above commit. Fix it by moving the pcie related nodes to the correct location. 2013-08-06ARM: kirkwood: convert the mv88f6281gtw_ge board to DTThomas Petazzoni
This commit converts the mv88f6281gtw_ge Kirkwood board to use a Device Tree representation, except for the Ethernet devices and the DSA switch. Even though the mv643xx_eth driver has a DT binding, converting this board to use it is for now left on the side because it doesn't use a simple PHY, but a DSA switch instead.
