2018-05-07ARM: dts: s3c24xx: Fix unnecessary address/size cells DTC warningsKrzysztof Kozlowski
Fix DTC warnings: arch/arm/boot/dts/s3c2416-smdk2416.dtb: Warning (avoid_unnecessary_addr_size): /cpus: unnecessary #address-cells/#size-cells without "ranges" or child "reg" property arch/arm/boot/dts/s3c2416-smdk2416.dtb: Warning (avoid_unnecessary_addr_size): /clocks: unnecessary #address-cells/#size-cells without "ranges" or child "reg" property Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-05-03ARM: dts: exynos/s3c: Remove leading 0x and 0s from bindings notationMathieu Malaterre
Improve the DTS files by removing all the leading "0x" and zeros to fix the following dtc warnings: Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading "0x" Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading 0s Converted using the following command: find arch/arm/boot/dts -type f \( -iname "*.dts" -o -iname "*.dtsi" \) -exec sed -i \ -e "s/@\([0-9a-fA-FxX\.;:#]\+\)\s*{/@\L\1 {/g" -e "s/@0x\(.*\) {/@\1 \ {/g" -e "s/@0\+\(.\+\) {/@\1 {/g" {} + For simplicity, two sed expressions were used to solve each warnings separately. To make the regex expression more robust a few other issues were resolved, namely setting unit-address to lower case, and adding a whitespace before the the opening curly brace: https://elinux.org/Device_Tree_Linux#Linux_conventions This will solve also a side effect warning: Warning (simple_bus_reg): Node /XXX@<UPPER> simple-bus unit address format error, expected "<lower>" This is a follow up to commit 4c9847b7375a ("dt-bindings: Remove leading 0x from bindings notation") Reported-by: David Daney <ddaney@caviumnetworks.com> Suggested-by: Rob Herring <robh@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Mathieu Malaterre <malat@debian.org> [krzk: Rerun the command to include few more changes, adjust the commit msg] Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

2015-09-29ARM: dts: Fix cpu compatible value for s3c2416Vladimir Zapolskiy
The change corrects cpu compatible property to a defined one, see Documentation/devicetree/bindings/arm/cpus.txt Signed-off-by: Vladimir Zapolskiy <vz@mleia.com> Cc: Kukjin Kim <kgene@kernel.org> Cc: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com>
2015-06-03ARM: dts: s3c2416: Add labels to S3C2416 nodesKrzysztof Kozlowski
Add new labels to certain nodes on S3C2416 so they could be easily referenced by board DTS files. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski.k@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene@kernel.org>
2014-07-09ARM: dts: SAMSUNG: Add aliases of UART nodesTomasz Figa
This patch adds alias entries for UART nodes of all SoCs using samsung-uart compatible UART controllers, so that the dependency on probe order is removed and deterministic device naming is assured. 2014-04-15ARM: dts: add clock data for s3c2416Heiko Stuebner
This adds the clock controller itself, the xti clock on the smdk2416 as well as the clock references in the individual device nodes. Signed-off-by: Heiko Stuebner <heiko@sntech.de> Reviewed-by: Tomasz Figa <t.figa@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene.kim@samsung.com>
2013-06-19ARM: dts: use #include for all device trees for SamsungPadmavathi Venna

2013-05-21ARM: dts: add devicetree support for s3c2416-smdk2416Heiko Stuebner
Definitions in s3c24xx.dtsi are usable for all s3c24xx SoCs, but some need to be extended with proper compatible properties, as can be seen in s3c2416.dtsi.
