2011-07-02ARM: pm: allow suspend finisher to return error codesRussell King
There are SoCs where attempting to enter a low power state is ignored, and the CPU continues executing instructions with all state preserved. It is over-complex at that point to disable the MMU just to call the resume path. Instead, allow the suspend finisher to return error codes to abort suspend in this circumstance, where the cpu_suspend internals will then unwind the saved state on the stack. Also omit the tlb flush as no changes to the page tables will have happened. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
2011-06-24ARM: pm: pxa: move cpu_suspend into C codeRussell King
We don't need a veneer for cpu_suspend, it can be called directly from C code now. Move it into the PXA CPU suspend functions, along with the accumulator register saving/restoring. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>

2009-06-11[ARM] pxa/sharpsl_pm: zaurus needs generic pxa suspend/resume routinesPavel Machek
For suspend/resume to work, spitz needs pxa_pm_suspend/resume to be called. Otherwise PSPR is not set properly, and system will die during resume. Signed-off-by: Pavel Machek <pavel@ucw.cz> Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.y.miao@gmail.com>
2009-03-09[ARM] pxa: make lubbock specific debugging stuffs back into lubbock.cEric Miao
This isn't perfect but at least solves the problem of pm.c's dependency on register definitions in <mach/lubbock.h>, which doesn't make much sense. Signed-off-by: Eric Miao <eric.miao@marvell.com>
2008-09-09[ARM] pxa: Allow platforms to override PSPR settingRussell King
Currently, we set PSPR just before entering sleep mode. However, some platforms have different requirements for setting PSPR in order to properly wake up. Set PSPR earlier in the suspend cycle so that platforms can change the setting by using a sysdev driver instead. 2008-08-07[ARM] Move include/asm-arm/arch-* to arch/arm/*/include/machRussell King
This just leaves include/asm-arm/plat-* to deal with. Signed-off-by: Russell King <rmk+kernel@arm.linux.org.uk>
