2017-08-28drivers/fmc: carrier can program FPGA on registrationFederico Vaga
The initial FPGA may require programming before it is useful. Signed-off-by: Federico Vaga <federico.vaga@cern.ch> Tested-by: Pat Riehecky <riehecky@fnal.gov> Acked-by: Alessandro Rubini <rubini@gnudd.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-08-28drivers/fmc: change registration prototypeFederico Vaga
Permit use of either fmc_device_register_n or fmc_device_register_n_gw depending on the type of device in use. 2017-08-28drivers/fmc: The only way to dump the SDB is from debugfsFederico Vaga
Driver should not call fmc_sdb_dump() anymore. (actually they can but the operation is not supported, so it will print an error message) Signed-off-by: Federico Vaga <federico.vaga@cern.ch> Tested-by: Pat Riehecky <riehecky@fnal.gov> Acked-by: Alessandro Rubini <rubini@gnudd.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2017-08-28drivers/fmc: hide fmc operations behind helpersFederico Vaga
This gave us more freedom to change/add/remove operations without recompiling all device driver. Typically, Carrier board implement the fmc operations, so they will not use these helpers. 2013-06-19fmc: avoid readl/writel namespace conflictArnd Bergmann
The use of the 'readl' and 'writel' identifiers here causes build errors on architectures where those are macros. This renames the fields to read32/write32 to avoid the problem. 2013-06-17FMC: add needed headersAlessandro Rubini
This set of headers comes from commit ab23167f (current master of the project on ohwr.org). They define the basic data structures for FMC and its SDB support.
