From 3e45f1d1155894e6f4291f5536b224874d52d8e2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eric Miao Date: Fri, 5 Mar 2010 13:44:35 -0800 Subject: gpio: introduce gpio_request_one() and friends gpio_request() without initial configuration of the GPIO is normally useless, introduce gpio_request_one() together with GPIOF_ flags for input/output direction and initial output level. gpio_{request,free}_array() for multiple GPIOs. Also drivers can extend the attributes with own data fields and use that in the low level function. This makes the class attributes the same as sysdev_class attributes and plain attributes. This will allow further cleanups in drivers. Full tree sweep converting all users.
