2020-02-09cmd: mdc/mwc: normalize disjoint MX_CYCLIC usageJoel Johnson
Both CMD_MX_CYCLIC and MX_CYCLIC are in use and defined in Kconfig, but only the non-CMD version currently does anything. This changes all usages to prefer the CMD_MX_CYCLIC option (since it's only affecting addition of the commands), and switches defconfigs using the non-CMD version to use the CMD version. 2019-12-04mtd: ensure MTD/the raw NAND core are compiled when there is a NAND flashMiquel Raynal
Both symbols must be enabled when there is a raw NAND driver selected. Also enable them when CONFIG_CMD_NAND is selected to avoid breaking things when we'll further rework the MTD dependency description. 2019-11-20env: Finish migration of common ENV optionsTom Rini
- In ARMv8 NXP Layerscape platforms we also need to make use of CONFIG_SYS_RELOC_GD_ENV_ADDR now, do so. - On ENV_IS_IN_REMOTE, CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET is never used, drop the define to 0. - Add Kconfig entry for ENV_ADDR. - Make ENV_ADDR / ENV_OFFSET depend on the env locations that use it. - Add ENV_xxx_REDUND options that depend on their primary option and SYS_REDUNDAND_ENVIRONMENT - On a number of PowerPC platforms, use SPL_ENV_ADDR not CONFIG_ENV_ADDR for the pre-main-U-Boot environment location. - On ENV_IS_IN_SPI_FLASH, check not for CONFIG_ENV_ADDR being set but rather it being non-zero, as it will now be zero by default. - Rework the env_offset absolute in env/embedded.o to not use CONFIG_ENV_OFFSET as it was the only use of ENV_OFFSET within ENV_IS_IN_FLASH. - Migrate all platforms. Today in initr_reloc_global_data() we use some non-obvious tests to determine if we need to relocate the env_addr within gd or not. In order to facilitate migration of other symbols to Kconfig we need to introduce a new symbol for this particular use case. 2019-08-25mtd: nand: raw: Move CONFIG_SYS_NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to KconfigStefan Roese
Convert CONFIG_SYS_NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to Kconfig, update defconfigs, headers and whitelist. Please note that this symbol already was used in Kconfig (imply in CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL) which did not work, since this symbol was not available in Kconfig. This changes now with this patch and all boards with CONFIG_NAND_ATMEL will have BBT enabled. Which is what I also need on my GARDENA AT91SAM based board. 2019-05-18CONFIG_SYS_[DI]CACHE_OFF: convert to KconfigTrevor Woerner
CONFIG_SYS_[DI]CACHE_OFF had been partially converted to Kconfig parameters; only for the ARC architecture. This patch turns these two parameters into Kconfig items everywhere else they are found. All of the include/configs/* and defconfig changes in this patch are for arm machines only. The Kconfig changes for arc, nds32, riscv, and xtensa have been included since these symbols are found in code under arch/{arc,nds32,riscv,xtensa}, however, no currently-defined include/configs/* or defconfigs for these architectures exist which include these symbols. These results have been confirmed with tools/moveconfig.py. 2019-04-12ti: keystone2: Move CONFIG_ISW_ENTRY_ADDR to a common placeTom Rini
The ISW_ENTRY_ADDR Kconfig option under mach-omap2 isn't a SoC specific notion but rather "where is our previous stage loaded in memory?" option. This converts the following to Kconfig: CONFIG_SPI This partly involves updating code that assumes that CONFIG_SPI implies things that are specific to the MPC8xx SPI driver. For now, just update the CONFIG tests. This also involves reworking the default for CONFIG_SYS_DEF_EEPROM_ADDR so that we don't set it when we cannot make a reasonable default, as it does not cause any compile failures. Adds a dedicated defconfig to build TI K2L secure devices and updates MAINTAINERS. k2l_hs_evm_defconfig is created from the k2l_evm_defconfig and removes support for SPL, as SPL is not supported on K2 HS devices. Corrects SYS_TEXT_BASE for HS devices.
